Based in Las Vegas, Dr. Flowers is a practicing physician, educator, inventor, and author. His passion is teaching, and his textbooks have been used by hundreds of thousands of students to prepare for the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test). He is also the inventor of DFTP patent-pending Minerva™ e-learning system. Dr. Flowers was a national pioneer in the development of safe and effective narcotic pain management programs, which have only recently been duplicated by others. He has developed and taught numerous healthcare continuing educations courses. Dr. Flowers is the inventor of a number of patents for pharmaceutical products. Dr. Flowers is a 1977 graduate of the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Flowers is Board-certified in internal medicine.
